Compassion Prison Ministry

Compassion Prison Ministry has worked in Partnership with Prison Chaplaincy's and local church groups in the North West of England. The team has been involved in educating and encouraging offenders into rehabilitation, and a pathway back to into the community. The charity has provided practical support in the form of meals and other practical needs through the foodbank. The Charity has equipped and utilised over 50 volunteers to go into the prisons listed below:

• HMP Hindley Men's Prison

• HMP Thorn Cross Men's Prison

• HMP Preston Men's Prison

The teams have conducted over 100 services per annum, with an average attendance of more than 20 inmates per service.
